I firmly believe in the transformative power of human connection and strive to listen attentively and understand deeply. Collaboratively we will work towards personal goals, employing a variety of techniques tailored to your unique needs. My aim is to empower you to take control of your healing process and move towards greater wellness and fulfillment.

My goals in counselling are to encourage and co-create with people the life transformation they wish to see within themselves and the world around them. I believe that counselling and education is a shared process in which my role is to journey alongside each person, providing them with the support, compassion and psycho-educational tools to find clarity in each unique situation. I see all personal interactions as “sacred space.” Being invited into the most vulnerable places of people’s lives deserve reverence, honour and sensitivity. Therefore, I approach all of my sessions with a trauma-informed lens and sensitivity to ensure a robust therapeutic alliance and a feeling of respect are experienced.

I have 12+ years of experience working in the social service sector by providing services and support to marginalized peoples in residential treatment, community shelter systems, local faith communities and acute hospital settings.
